Pink With a Purpose: Supporting the Fight Against Breast Cancer
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but for us at 5 Star Equine Products,
the meaning behind the pink goes far beyond a color.
Breast cancer has directly affected members of our families, our coworkers,
and people we care about. Like so many families and communities, we have seen
firsthand the strength it takes to face a diagnosis, support someone through
treatment, and stand beside those whose lives have been changed by this disease.
That is why this October, 10% of all 5 Star pink product sales will be
donated to Susan G. Komen Arkansas in support of the fight against
breast cancer.

Throughout the month of October, when you purchase a pink product from
5 Star, you are helping us give back. From pink saddle pads and tack to
boots, gear, and other pink favorites, 10% of pink product sales
will be donated to Susan G. Komen Arkansas.
For us, this is about more than a month-long campaign.
It is about supporting the people in our own families, workplace,
hometowns, and communities who have been affected by breast cancer.
5 Star is a hometown company. Since 1998, we have been building products
by hand in Hatfield, Arkansas. The people behind 5 Star are more than
employees. We are families, friends, neighbors, horsemen and horsewomen.
We celebrate together, work alongside one another, and support each other
when life gets difficult.
Those values are at the heart of our Pink With a Purpose campaign.
A One-of-a-Kind Pad. 100% Donated.
This year, we wanted to do something more.
We created a truly one-of-a-kind 5 Star saddle pad for a special Breast
Cancer Awareness Month auction. The custom pad combines our
100% pure wool foundation with incredible
hand-tooled and hand-painted leather artwork.
Every detail makes this pad unique. Pink breast cancer awareness ribbons
are incorporated into the leatherwork, while hand-painted butterflies,
flowers, and water lilies transform the leather into a piece of art.
100% of the proceeds from this custom auction pad will be
donated to Susan G. Komen Arkansas.
