Constructed from 1″ thick 100% pure wool felt, The Mountain Packer absorbs shock, wicks away moisture, dissipates heat, and conforms to your animal’s back over time for a custom fit. The square skirt provides excellent coverage beneath pack saddles, helping distribute weight evenly across the back during long days on the trail.

Designed specifically for packing, this pad features an open gullet with a protective leather flap. The open gullet provides wither clearance while the leather flap helps prevent twigs, burrs, and trail debris from working their way beneath the pad, making it practical and easy to use in rugged environments.
